Are you in charge of planning a fun spouse night for your unit or club but aren't sure what to do? How about a craft event? Between now and May, while supplies last, Tenaciously Remembered is offering the chipboard banner below as a fun group project:
These banners are very popular on Pinterest right now (you can see different ideas for decorating on Pinterest: http://www.pinterest.com/search/pins/?q=chipboard%20banner). The cost is $10 per banner, up to eight letters, and then $1 for each additional letter. Anyone whose word or name is less than 4 letters will get two additional boards to put red hearts on, like the "Cruz" banner above. The "Guthrie" banner is about 2 feet long and each board in the banner is about 3x4 inches. There are four color choices: white/red/black (pictured), white/green/black (pictured), white/teal/black, and white/pink black. A photo with all of the choices is below.
We will be painting and stamping, so plan to wear casual clothes/bring aprons. I recommend that you reserve community room 655 because of the tile flooring and easy access to a sink.
