"Remember These Moments" Graduated Album

7 p.m. Tuesday, June 16 on a MCAS Iwakuni location TBA, $35 per kit.

Create you own 8x10-inch graduated acrylic and chipboard photo album in just an evening! All tools and supplies are provided... but if you'd like to bring your own scissors or favorite adhesive, please feel free. No crafting experience is necessary. Only 5 kits available!

Here is how to register:

1) Send $35 via Paypal to jessicaguthrie@hotmail.com.

2) Send an email to jessicaguthrie@hotmail.com with the following information:

Your full name, your email address and your phone number.

3) Wait for a confirmation email with additional details. :)

Class cancellation policy: You are purchasing a project kit, not a class. Kits must be paid for at least 10 days prior to the free class. Participants who have paid for their kits in full will have priority when it comes to a seat in the class. If a kit is paid in full, but the participant will not attend the class, I will make arrangements to get your kit to you. Kits do not include liquid items (paint, glue, ink, etc.) or tools (scissors, binding tools, punches, etc.). If a participant who planned to attend the free class cancels or is absent, there is not a refund. However, I will email or Facebook message you to make arrangements to get the project kit to you. Photos of the completed project are available below, and I am happy to meet with you to answer any questions about project construction.

"Spring in Iwakuni" Scrapbook Album class

2014 Holiday Ornament Class Dec. 11

Create a beautiful, festive holiday ornament in an evening! This year's theme is "Let it snow!" There are several color schemes available. Ornament kits are $10 each.

Each round acrylic ornament is about 4 inches big. We will be rubber stamping glittery snowflakes on them, and then filling them with a large snowflake and "snow." Add a festive ribbon, and either a kanji or English stamped tag and you've got a beautiful handmade ornament for your tree!

The open class will be Thursday, Dec. 11 from 7-9 p.m. and is limited to 30 kits. Class location on base TBA. Email your name, and the number of blue and white, and/or red and green ornaments kits you would like. Kits are available on a first come, first paid basis. Payment details will be emailed to you after you contact me.

I have an additional kits earmarked for group events. Group events are first come, first served.
If

your group would like to schedule its own event with me, please email me ASAP with the date you would like and number of ornament kits to reserve for your group. Once the date is booked and the number of ornaments reserved, changes to the quantity of ornaments cannot be changed and the group will be responsible for paying for all ornaments reserved. You are responsible for booking the community room (I recommend Building 655 for easy clean up) and setting up tables and chairs. I bring all of the tools and materials necessary to create the ornaments. Additional details will be emailed to you.

"Our Holidays in Japan" 8 x 10 Album (Workshop Nov. 20... see below for details)

This class is the last Tenaciously Remembered workshop of the year! And it covers all of your major holidays, with a unique twist: It’s all about celebrating the holidays in Japan!

This 8x10-inch chipboard album can house at least 21 photos, from Halloween, to the leaves changing, to Thanksgiving, to Christmas, to the New Year. Entitled “Our Holidays in Japan,” this album has a binding tag where you can write the year – or years – you celebrate the holidays in Japan.

If you would like to make this album, the workshop will be from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 20 at a location on base to be announced. I only have 9 project kits available and this has been a much-requested class. So… I am doing something different this time. You name your price. Yep, that’s right… you pay what you want to pay to take this workshop. Message me on the Tenaciously Remembered Facebook page with your email address and the amount you would like to pay for this album by Oct. 31. The top 9 bids will receive a project kit and a seat in the class. Message me only once, your earliest bid will be the official one, and do it before 5 p.m. Oct. 31. Your bid will remain confidential and the winners will be notified by Nov. 2 and will be required to pay for their kit via Paypal by 3 p.m. Nov. 5th. Kits not paid for by the deadline will be offered to the next highest bidders.

Craft for Spouse Events

Are you in charge of planning a fun spouse night for your unit or club but aren't sure what to do? How about a craft event? Between now and May, while supplies last, Tenaciously Remembered is offering the chipboard banner above as a fun group project.

These banners are very popular on Pinterest right now (you can see different ideas for decorating on Pinterest: http://www.pinterest.com/search/pins/?q=chipboard%20banner). The cost is $10 per banner, up to eight letters, and then $1 for each additional letter. Anyone whose word or name is less than 4 letters will get two additional boards to put red hearts on, like the "Cruz" banner above. The "Guthrie" banner is about 2 feet long and each board in the banner is about 3x4 inches. There are four color choices: white/red/black (pictured), white/green/black (pictured), white/teal/black, and white/pink black. A photo with all of the choices is below.

We will be painting and stamping, so plan to wear casual clothes/bring aprons. I recommend that you reserve community room 655 because of the tile flooring and easy access to a sink.
