The first of the month means promotions...

For those of you who may not be familiar with military life, promotion (almost) always happen on the first of each month. It is August 1 (in Japan, it is, anyway!), so there are promotions happening all across the base today, and, really, all across the world. This custom 6x6-inch album with acrylic cover was created for a new Chief Warrant Officer... and I almost forgot to get pictures of it before it left my house! So, please forgive the quality of the photos, they were taken with my iPhone, but I just had to share... I just love the NATO phonetic alphabet (officially called the International Radiotelephony Spelling Alphabet) stickers!

One kit left for Thursday night's H&HS spouse class!

The H&HS Spouse Night project, the Japanese-inspired mini album, is this Thursday, July 25, at 7 p.m. in Building 655's community room. I currently have one kit available due to a cancellation, so be sure to email me if you are interested. Additional details about the class can be found on the Kits, Classes and Events page.

Next Crafts and Cocktails class scheduled for Aug. 13

As I mentioned in the previous post, I had planned to return from my two-week visit to the States July 1, but a lost passport has delayed my return. At this time, it looks like I will arrive in Iwakuni late on July 19, which means I have to postpone two classes this summer.

The "Sugoi Summer" Crafts & Cocktails class that was scheduled for July 9 will be moved to Tues., August 13.

The H&HS Spouse Night project, the Japanese-inspired mini album, was scheduled for July 18, but will now be Thurs., July 25. Additional details about both classes can be found on the Kits, Classes and Events page.

Travel difficulties postpone summer classes...

I had planned to return from my two-week visit to the States July 1, but a lost passport has delayed my return. At this time, it looks like I will arrive in Iwakuni late on July 19, which means I have to postpone two classes this summer.
